Sturgis Bank Board Awards Promotions

STURGIS, Mich., May 2, 2023 – 

At its annual meeting held in April, the Sturgis Bank Board of Directors approved promotions for several employees. Jason Hyska, CEO of Sturgis Bank, said “On behalf of the board of directors, I am pleased to recognize these valued team members for their contributions to Sturgis Bank and for their service to our shareholders, customers, and communities. Our people are the reason we continue to see success as a Community Bank focused on ‘growing home’.”

Brian Hoggatt was promoted to Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. He joined the organization in 1988 in the Accounting Department and has been promoted several times throughout his career with Sturgis Bank. Brian graduated from Freed-Hardeman University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance degree and from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business with a Masters of Business Administration degree. He is an instructor at Perry School of Banking and Treasurer for Sturgis Exchange Club, Goshen Church of Christ, and Camp Indogan.

Tracey Parker was promoted to Executive Vice President, Chief Risk Officer. Parker joined the Bank in 1989 where she served as the Director of Retail Lending and Chief Credit Officer. She was promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer in 2017. Parker holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Albion College and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance degree from Western Michigan University. She is an active member of Sturgis Rotary, Sturgis Neighborhood Program, American Bankers Association Mortgage Market Committee and President of the Hope for the Animals Board of Directors.

Rob Beachy was promoted to Chief Information Officer. He joined the organization in 2001 as the Information Technology Coordinator. Beachy also teaches as an adjunct instructor at Southern New Hampshire University. Beachy holds a Master of Information Assurance, Computer and Information Systems Security degree from Davenport University and several industry licenses. He was a Non-Commissioned Officer in the United States Army before beginning his career in IT. Beachy also serves as an advisory board member for the Constantine Area Community Foundation.

Megan Yore was promoted to Chief Marketing Officer. She joined the organization in April 2022 as Vice President, Marketing. Yore graduated with a Doctorate of Education (Ed.D) in Organizational Leadership from Olivet Nazarene University, a Master of Arts in English and Professional Writing from Western Michigan University, and a bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Michigan. She is a graduate of the American Bankers Association School of Bank Marketing and Management and holds the Certified Financial Marketing Professional credential. Yore formerly held marketing and communications leadership roles in healthcare, banking, and higher education in southwest Michigan. She serves on the Board of Trustees for the Lincoln Township Public Library and the Marketing and Communications Committees of Krasl Art Center.

Jeshua “Jesse” Campos was promoted to Assistant Vice President, Information Technology. He joined Sturgis Bank in 2016 as PC Service and Support Specialist and was promoted to Network Administrator in 2019. Jesse graduated from Glen Oaks Community College with an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Information Systems. He volunteers at the St. Joseph County Fair auction annually.
