Sturgis Bank Promotes Reid Yocom to Consumer Loan Originator

Sturgis Bank is pleased to announce that Reid Yocom has been promoted to Consumer Loan Originator, serving the Berrien County market.

Reid joined Sturgis Bank in the fall of 2023 as a Personal Banker at the Bank’s Cleveland Avenue office in St. Joseph. He has five years’ previous experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator and Sales Representative for other financial institutions.

Kim Dwyer, Senior Vice President and Head of Retail Lending, said, “We are thrilled to promote Reid into this role. He will expand our team of lending experts in Berrien County and provide additional customer service to our growing group of customers in Southwest Michigan.”

Reid studied finance at Mid-Michigan Community College. He volunteers with the Krasl Art Fair, represents the Bank as “Nutty” at the annual Watermark Brewing Company fundraiser for the Special Olympics, and co-hosts Young Professional events for the Bank through the Southwest Michigan Regional Chamber of Commerce.
